Fenwick

FF%

A shot-attempt metric like Corsi but excluding blocked shots, often used as a possession and shot-suppression proxy.

Fenwick is Corsi without blocked shots: it counts shots on goal and missed shots for and against. The idea is that shot blocking is a repeatable skill, so excluding blocks can better reflect unblocked shot generation.

Fenwick close (in tied or one-goal games) was historically used to strip out score effects, where trailing teams shoot more.
